What he does
Organizational transformation and change leadership, designing Centers of Excellence, building operational infrastructure, and deploying agentic AI responsibly where the stakes are high.
CTO at Tria · Founder, Teaching for Good · AIUC-1 Consortium member
This master class is created and taught by Murali Mallina. Over 27 years, Murali has built and led engineering organizations across seven countries — startups, consultancies, system integrators, and large enterprises — including nine years supporting various U.S. federal agencies. He has shipped software and built teams that serve millions of users and citizens.
His work sits at the intersection of three things this course is about: agentic AI, security and governance in high-accountability environments, and teaching. He is a frequent conference speaker on AI/ML, DevSecOps, agile delivery, and scalable architecture.
What he does
Organizational transformation and change leadership, designing Centers of Excellence, building operational infrastructure, and deploying agentic AI responsibly where the stakes are high.
Why he teaches
“The game has shifted from how to build to why and what to build.” He believes security and AI literacy should be accessible to every builder — the same conviction behind Nirvik Learning.
Murali is a member of the AIUC-1 Consortium — the group of 200+ security leaders, AI researchers, and legal experts (with technical contributors including MITRE, OWASP, and the Cloud Security Alliance) that maintains AIUC-1, the world’s first security, safety, and reliability standard for AI agents.
Murali has authored two practitioner playbooks for the age of agentic AI:
Beyond his industry work, Murali founded Teaching for Good (2018), which pairs teaching and mentoring with fundraising for nonprofits, and has run 15+ Google CS First clubs introducing computer science to students. This master class — part of Nirvik Learning — continues that thread: bringing serious, current security education to every builder, with no gatekeeping.
